SECOND SUNDAYS: Ross Grams Digital Art Speed Painting Demonstration.

Hallowell, Maine - The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee presents SECOND SUNDAYS, a series of community art-making events open to everyone. February’s event on Sunday the 8th, 2-4pm is Ross Grams Digital Art Speed Painting Demonstration.

Participants are encouraged to bring the sketching materials they are most comfortable with, be it a sketchbook and a pencil, a portable painting kit, or digital painting tools (basic pencils and paper will be available at the gallery).

Ross Grams is a digital illustrator, concept artist and painter from Vienna, Maine. Check out his website rossgrams.com — then come watch him in action. He will be demonstrating speed painting strategy and techniques, as well as discussing practical information about working as a freelance artist in the entertainment industry. Following the demo and discussion there will be a 30-minute sketch session with the participants.

Second Sunday Community Art-making Series is sponsored by our hometown bank, The Bank of
Maine

Mark your calendars and look forward to activities on the second Sunday of every month at the Harlow. These events bring artists and art lovers together to enjoy the process of making art as well as looking at art and discussing it. Many of the events are perfect for families, but children under 10 MUST be accompanied by a care-giver. These sessions take place every 2nd Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Harlow Gallery, and are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. Let’s get creative!  Donations to support gallery programs like Second Sundays are always welcome! The Harlow Gallery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and your gift is fully tax deductible in accordance with current tax law.
